BUSY SUMMER!!

It's been so long since my last post, I'm not sure where to start. I've been very busy this wedding season, but I'm enjoying every minute of it!!

I had a great time @ Joana & Julian's wedding @ the Mill on the River. The ceremony started dry, but ended with a T-storm. It was OK though, because we had shelter to finish out the beautiful ceremony. I had a great time sharing this day with the both of you. Good Luck in Texas!!

Congratulations Cristina!!

Today my sister Cristina graduated from the UConn School of Business. It seems like yesterday that my family helped her move into her dorm freshman year. But 4 years later she's finally done and ready for her next chapter. I'm so happy and proud of her.
To quote the great and very tan, Mr. George "Jim" Hamilton:
Welcome to the real world, Cristina, we've been waiting for you."

It's a bit windy!

SWAT GIRL

A few weeks ago my sister Cristina and I had the pleasure of volunteering our photography services to the W. Htfd Police SWAT team. They were contacting a "Night Stalker Shoot" with area SWAT teams. This training was unique because it was held in complete darkness. There were 2 training sites with different types of rifles, one for close range and one with sniper rifles. The officers use a special night vision lens with IR to shoot these guns in the dark. I wasn't allowed to use my flash (oh what is a girl to do??!!) So with the night vision attached to my camera lens I was able to see what the officers could see in the dark and capture the lasers aiming at the targets. We were also lucky enough to give the rifles a test run. Wedding Photographer by day and SWAT Girl by night. I like the sound of that!!

Erin & Garvin Engagement

Yesterday, I met with Erin & Garvin @ Stanley Park in MA. for their Engagement Session. It was my second time at Stanley Park this year and it was wonderful discovering its beauty once again. What also made the day great was Erin & Garvin, who were so fun and easy to pose. Great job Erin and Garvin! Stay tuned for their slide show!!

Congratulations!!

A few weeks ago I met my friend Cara's new baby girl. She is the most precious little girl. Congratulations Cara & Jim!! I'm so happy for the both of you.

I also met with the Allen Family at the West Hartford Reservoir. I had so much fun with the 4 boys. They were up to any mischief I could think of . They did a great job posing with the whole family too!! Here a few fun ones from the day. Enjoy!!

I met Ashley & Jason for the first time at their E-shoot at

the West Hartford Reservoir. It was a perfect fall day to

take pictures. They were so comfortable and relaxed, we

had a great time walking the grounds. Their wedding will

take place in Newport, RI next summer. I can't wait it's going to be so much fun.

On 10/18/08 I met with Joana & Julian for their engagement session. Joana & Julian decided to have their pictures taken at Trinity College. We had a blast exploring the beautiful campus. She also mentioned that her parents had taken their wedding pictures at Trinity and we had fun recreating some of the same shots.
